Henry R's Story

Life Still kicken, After a year of surfin and barely passing CC, I got drafted into the Army when I lost my defermit. Navy took me because of my radio/Morse code skills, so I survived being a crunchy and became a squid. The next four years could have been a best seller, but I hate to write. I got out of Nam and went to Cal Poly SLO. I bought 40 acres next to lake Santa Margarita with my GI bill. After a few years of low life jobs and crazed associations and bearly yards in front of the law, I escaped from a life on the edge to meet the woman of my dreams at UCSB living next door to Campas Cop John W. Jones (jumpy). On a chance meeting at the Faculty Lounge I meet Laura Lynn Jespersen at a CSA Holloween party dressed as a Sailor. Maybe I should have gotten some therapy for even noticing a woman dressed as a sailor, but we ended up naked in the pool, and the rest was history. It took lots of flowers to as she had two rich boy friends that did not know about the flower thing. We both worked hard and played hard for ten years traveling, sailing, motorcycling and then we had kids. Two boys now 18 & 16. Eric and Marc are the joy of my life and both have turned out real well and with far less problems than I had as a child. Laura and I are divorced after 28 years and I am the owner of ComputerPro/MacSource in Goleta with my business partner Elie Azar. I don't know what I would of done differently had I the chance? I might have worked less and not bought ComputerPro, as its nearly impossible to find trained people who live in this town. So guess who gets to kill h...Expand for more
imself working, the owners! I am thankful for the few friends I have Rick Collinge, Phil Archenbronn and John Jones and I often think about my old friends I never see, Dave Jones, Larry Feldman, Rubert Bisquera, Steve Balmer, Kevin Burke, Sam Abate,Tim Deinhard, Ted Hall,Steve Soltysik to name a few. So right now I am just trying to get two boys through School and retire as I jet set between here, Hawaii, and Vegas. I am now hooked up with the most fantastic woman who is an animal behaviorist named Wency and we are having great fun with her trying to make me behave. We both work to hard and with the 6 dogs, 2 cats, 4 goats, and 20 chickens and giant white bird, its tough to GO ANYWHERE! I am hoping to retire in two years, but life keeps throwing me a curve and the jury is not out yet. I just had a $50k shoulder operation in January 06 so my dirt biken days are over, but the dune buggy is getting rebuilt at Denunzio Racing in Goleta right now. Marc and I blew it up in Helendale just before Christmas. We plan to tear it up before he goes off to college next fall. Eric is at San Diego State and has way to many girl friends to finish college without breaking the bank. I just told him he might want to get a JOB!!!!! Especially if he only has 9 units this Semester. A tip for anyone trying to get financial aid, get your kids pin and do it yourself or get nothing because they don't get it. The last reunion was a hoot and seeing Stoney who I see at the Elks anyway gives me hope I might see my grand kids before I kick. Have fun and live for today, cus tomorrow is ?
